in the case of the Episcopal Conference of Angola and São Tomé, we also reflected on the matter and came to the conclusion that regarding the declaration of both the blessing of same-sex couples, homosexuals or the blessing of couples in an irregular situation, it would create effectively more harm than good to the faith of our people. (...) (for this reason) at the level of the Episcopal Conference of Angola and São Tomé, and just as the other conferences, Episcopalians and also groups of priests did in several parts of the world, we think it best not to grant this blessing to same-sex couples as well as those couples with an irregular situation.
